“I learned to sign with my baby when my son was four months old. Tears and smiles work for communicating, but this went beyond that. At 7 months, he signed "toilet" and "milk." He never had tantrums and learned early on to sign instead of cry for what he wanted. With the communication seed planted so early, I believe he learned to talk more easily and early. What a fun and useful way it was to interact with my baby."
